feedalizr is a Adobe® AIR™ Twitter desktop application that brings, amongst other services, Twitter to the desktop of Mac, linux and PC. Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.
When feedalizr is used as a Twitter Adobe® AIR&trade desktop application feedalizr alows users to view, send, retweet and reply to tweets from the desktop. The home stream displays all tweets as well as the other services you have added to the desktop application like friendfeed, Flickr, jaiku and Facebook. Filters are available to view specific users twitter stream. These filters can be opened in tabs allowing you to see only the twitter updates of users you want getting rid of all the twitter noise.

If you've noticed the many tweets being shared containing twitpic urls you no longer need to click on those twitpic links to see the photos being shared on twitter.
