Jaiku Desktop Client for Linux
Looking for a Jaiku Desktop client for Linux? feedalizr is a Jaiku desktop client that runs on Adobe AIR. There is an alpha version of Adobe® AIR™ (linux) available that enables you to use feedalizr as a Jaiku desktop application on your Linux installation.
Installing the alpha version of Adobe AIR on your linux box will not harm your system and will enable you to use feedalizr as a Jaiku desktop client. As Adobe® AIR™ is platform independent you are able to run it on Gnome (default Ubuntu GUI), KDE and most linux desktop environments.
Once Adobe AIR has been installed all that is required is that you download the feedalizr file which will be called feedalizr.air. Double-clicking this file will open it in the Adobe Air installer. Follow the instructions and feedalizr will be installed.
Once you have installed feedalizr simply click on the Jaiku icon, insert your jaiku username and personal key. You will now be ready to run feedalizr as a Jaiku desktop client. feedalizr can also be used a jaiku client on Mac OS X and Windows.
