Friendfeed Adobe® AIR™ Desktop Application
Monitor and respond to FriendFeed on your desktop with feedalizr, the first Adobe® AIR™ FriendFeed desktop application available. feedalizr makes it possible to FriendFeed on your Windows, Mac and Linux desktop because it is built using the Adobe® AIR™ runtime environment.
Before installing feedalizr to monitor and respond to your FriendFeed activity stream you are required to install Adobe® AIR™, available here. Once you have it installed Adobe® AIR™ simply browse to the feedalizr homepage and click install application. This will install feedalizr on your Windows, Mac or Linux machine allowing you to FriendFeed from your desktop.
To start using FriendFeed on your desktop, click the friendfeed icon found on the feedalizr screen and enter your FriendFeed nickname and FriendFeed remote key. Now feedalizr will start aggregating your FriendFeed stream showing all of your contacts FriendFeed activities.
With feedalizr for FriendFeed you are able to:
- Share links to with your various FriendFeed rooms
- Comment on your Friendfeed friends submissions
- View what services and feeds yours friends are subscribed to and the contacts they are following.
- Like FriendFeed posts and see who else has liked items.
- Comment on FriendFeed.
- Use your webcam to create video and embed video into your FriendFeed stream
