Facebook Adobe® AIR™ Desktop Application
Has there been a time you only wanted to update your Facebook status and maybe view your Facebook friends status messages? If you are sick of the application invites but enjoy using Facebook to keep up to date with your friends activities there is a solution for you that only requires an Adobe AIR application.
Keep track of twitter, facebook status updates and more of your favorite social media sites from your desktop. This Adobe AIR application that will allow you to update your Facebook status from your desktop is called feedalizr.
Once your have installed the Adobe AIR runtime, head over to www.feedalizr.com and install the Adobe AIR app. You may already have installed other AIR apps to twitter, FriendFeed or Flickr. This Adobe AIR app allows you to Facebook as well as Twitter, Flickr and Friendfeed.
Once installed click the Facebook icon and start the authorization process.
- Click on get one-time code. (this will open your web browser at the facebook site)
- Save My Login Info Facebook page appears with the message: Generate a one-time code that you can give to feedalizr. This code will allow Facebook to save your login info for feedalizr. You will not have to log in to Facebook again to use feedalizr. Your Facebook credentials are saved on your computer in an encrypted format.
- Click on the generate button in the web browser window that opens.
- Copy and paste your one-time code from your web browser window into the box provided.
- Click on validate the authorization
- Click on grant permission
